Bio-Tape slides provide a convenient way of surface sampling for contaminants. Through the use of Bio-Tapes, identification and degree of the contaminants can be made. The Bio-tape works especially well on flat smooth surfaces.

A Bio-Tape consists of a flexible plastic microscope slide with an adhesive area, which is used to capture the sample. It also has a description label for identification and a plastic holder case.
