Due to health risks involved in hospitals, IECL understands the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness of the building that need to be maintained at all times. This of course includes both surface cleanliness and indoor air quality. IECL can offer services in pre- and post- remediation clean room testing.
We can both confirm the initial state of the premises as well as a confirmation of successful cleaning or remediation. We tailor all testing to the circumstances. For example:
- Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) testing – For clinical cleans, such as cleaning surgical rooms, ATP testing can be used to provide an indication of effective cleaning and decontamination of the area. This is very important in highly sensitive areas (e.g. operating theatres).
- Surface and air particulate and mould testing – Using Bio-tapes and Air-O-Cell cassettes, our technicians can detect the level of debris and mould present in the air and on surfaces.
- Vacuum dust collector – Using a vacuum operated sampler IECL technicians can analyse air samples for dust or fire residue. This would be very important in hospitals that have been affected by fire.
If you have a situation that requires an indoor environmental assessment in a hospital, clinic, or another sensitive area, please don’t hesitate to contact us for hassle-free clean room testing. You can book in your inspection today using our interactive booking system.
